Default Question about Catalytic Converter - 99 Prelude SH

I have just ordered and am about to install headers, intake, intake manifold, and exhaust. I then thought that maybe getting a new cat would be wise. I am baffled at the price from a Honda dealer, $650. However when I look online I see them ranging from $80 to $150, and that is even for high-flow cats.

Can anyone recommend anything? I just purchased an Apexi N1 catback exhaust. And from looking at the forums I also noticed that purchasing a Caspers O2 Simulator may be wise.

I'm basically wondering how a high-flow cat at $150 could be better than a Honda cat for $650. Please advise.

Thank you,
venger

for one the price difference is a factor 150 vs 650. and you will need an o2 sim like a casper's one to get rid of the catalyst below threshold or inefficiency code

a good cat i would recommend would be a carsound or a random cat
