Default rear sway bar

i have a 99 civic and want to put on the rear type r sway bar. i was wondering what endlinks, bushings, and other hardware people used to make it fit. i know the bar is kinda too much for the subframe, so the a bsq or the a-spec subframe reinforcer is going on. with that setup, will there be any flaws in handling? could i go with a bigger bar or would the type r one be enough or more than enough? sorry for allthe questions but sumone help please

You will need rear LCAs with sway bar attachment points to run the ITR bar. Pretty sure you could use SI endlinks. Bushings and D brackets you could get from honda(ITR ones)if they dont come with the bar. And I would deffinately get some sort of brace. If I missed anything I am sure someone will speak up.

you can go online to DELRAY acura. go to their Order ONLINE PARTS section. they have good prices and all the acura diagrams for the parts.
i think i got my TYPE R 22mm rear sway for $70 from them brand spanking new. i've seen people try to sell them online and ebay for $100.

For your 99 EX you will need:

- 99-00 Si rear sway-bar end-links
- 22mm ITR rear sway-bar mount bushings
- Sway-bar mount brackets that go over the mount bushings
- BSQ/Beaks/ASR/Comptech reinforcment kits to bolt the sway-bar mounts to
- ASR aluminum bushings/spacers to connect the Si end-links to the Swaybar (click here to view)
- Random nuts & bolts to bolt everything down

PS: your 99 EX LCAs should already have the holes for the swaybar in them....

You can use the OEM stuff, or you can buy aftermarket swaybar mounts for a 22mm bar. I think Prothane sells the brackets w/ bushings at checker auto parts...

You can always go to the beaks site and look at the ek quick swap kit. It will have everything you will need to put one on (assuming your LCA's have to mount hole), including a subframe reinforcement kit.

I have a beaks kit on my eg, great quality, it has survived a couple of autocrosses so far.

Get a Comptech swaybar/tiebar setup. It has everything you need to install to your Civic.

It comes with..
22mm swaybar with 3 mounting points
tiebar reinforcement
pair of endlinks
pair of bushings and brackets
a ton of bolts/nuts/washers
