Default Wheres my A/C !

I was sitting in my car the other day and then I heard a pop* come from inside the dash, underneath the climate controls/stereo, I geuss it could have been from under the glove box too, not sure really. But then my A/C stopped blowing cold air..! Nothing but normal temperature air..Brought it to Honda and they replaced the pollen filter and sent me on my way claiming that my A/C was working fine.. But the thing is, well...its not working, any Ideas.?

Take it back to the dealer and tell them they still haven't fixed it. Also, I don't see how replacing the in-cabin filter will make the A/C work. It might smell better and the air will be cleaner but that's about it...

there are many things that make a/c not work but cabin filter is not 1 of them.....i can only think that you have an intermittent electrical problem and maybe it was working when they had the car but to sell you a cabin filter to fix the problem ???? man i would wonder about their integrety i can see that a very badly plugged cabin filter would restrict air flow from the vents but it would not make a/c work or fail on its cold effectiveness ...
and as sj says it they charged you money to supposely fix your problem i would take it back to them and ask why they replaced filter

heres the issue, I had my 102K final check up, I did it before 100K so that If ther were any problems, all my warenties (that are still effective) would cover them. A/C was one of those things that was still covered..they didnt charge me for the cabin filter because it was included in the price of the check up, but now, my waranty is done..and I need to pay to fix this.

if you smelled a gas in the car, or saw it, that would be freon. if that happened, then it is your evaporator, which is behind your glove box

I did see a white gas coming from the vents on numerous occasions, at Honda they told me not to worry about that, "its just evaporation" is what I was told..
Should I just look to buy a new evaporator? Ive never heard of this before, would someone know approx the price of this unit??
