y do a kit when you can put a together a better one, especially if the kits for your engine are limited or you can't really find one.

the b16 is hardly a performance engine.....100hp/litre or not....

hoenstly, nothing is the same. different block, different heads, different specs, different bore, stroke and displacement, differnt fuel maps, injectors....

the only similarities is that HONDA is stamped onto it

I guess it also depends on WHICH B16 your talking about...i'd hardly call the B16A (any of them) performance engines, but the B16B, that IS a performance engine, a little pricey, but a very nice platform for the CTR.

You arnt going to get that B16 in your accord...so why are you curious?

Kings in terms of what? I'd say the F20C and newer F22C easily trump it in terms of...well, anything but cost.

i dont care who makes it, 160 hp and 110 ft/lbs is not a performance engine unless its on a motorcycle. it can rev fo 20k, and its still not a performance engine...

b18c5 and F20's are about the only 4 cylinder performance engines honda made

h22a and S2000 motors from recent history and some 8900 rpm monster from the 60's sports car come to mind for high performance 4 cylanders from honda.

in terms of development...

once K's get as much attention and development it will start all over again. when you talk about honda and high performance what 3 venues that come to mind?
from the mids 90's to now they dominated NHRA, NDRA, BOTI in many of the classes, all motor, sfwd, etc....
