Recent B16 swap..idleing problem??

Default Recent B16 swap..idleing problem??

Juss like it says....i just swapped my EK with a jdm b16....the engine runs fine but when the car is at a stop it idles up and down....i dun have a tach yet but i would say it flucuates between 1K AND 2k up and down....other than that, no problems yet .

CELS? no then it might be a vacuum leak.. what you do is use a spray bottle with soapy water and while the engine is on.. spray along the vacuum lines.. if you see bubbles then you have a leak.. ..

if you do have a CEL.. it depends on what it is.. IAT, IACV etc.. most common one is the IACV tho.. you can always take it out and clean it..

IACV couldnt make it your idle BOUNCE, the IACv contraols your idle not a abnormal issue like rev bounce. Its either a vaccuum leak 75% of the time, I had a similar problem but my problem was a coolant line running to the Throttle body/Intake manifold, that radiator stop leak clogged the cold start diaphram thinger and it would never open. I just opened it scraped it out and it works like a champ. Hope fully this helps you.

Could be low on coolant. make sure there is no air in the radiator.
