i was wondering about mounts, i know i could get hasport place racing and hcp..but i've also seen people use different stock mounts and i've seen people keep there tranny bracket...my question is what stock mounts r used and is there anyway to keep the tranny mount bracket...

you keep the tranny braket with hcp, but you have to trim it. you replace the tranny bracket with hasports now. I don't see how there could be any way around at least trimming the bracket. with my hcp kit, I have just enough clearance on the driver's side to get my timing belt on and off, its pretty tight there. On the passenger's side, the lever for the shift cable controlling the lateral shifter movement will hit the tranny mount bracket if you don't cut it. This would keep you out of 5th and reverse. The motor and tranny are just physically too large to fit without any cutting. I only have direct knowledge concerning eg's here, and you didn't list the chassis you want to drop it in, although i wouldn't think it's likely that it would drop in an ek any easier, and I know the ef's have even less room.
