Transmission problem (video and pictures )
Ok so i bought a car and it only shifted 1st 3rd and 5th and was really hard. Car was in a accident to at first i was thinking bent shift linkage. Wrong. Took the transmission out and opened it up tried shifting and for some reason it only shifts 2 gears and i don't know which gears those are because i know little to nothing about transmissions. I only got the helms manual, and some pictures on working with the tranny. Well I was messing around and was wondering why it shifts 2 gears only, WALA this daym thing isnt moving the other thing to get to the synchros. I don't know the name so good thing i took pictures and also have a video. 56k friendly also. So what will i need to do? I haven't read the helms manual yet about putting a tranny back together and i'll be doing that now while people can share some inputs.
