Any of you guys know were can I get a set of Honda S2k seats and will they fit
into a crx ok?

 

Any seat will fit into a crx... its just the rails that will have problems. Your going to have to make custom ones.

 

the only place i know for sure you can get them is at your friendly local honda dealer. you might check the classifieds, but if i had a set i know i wouldnt be selling them. you can get them online here.. http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/
there is a guy who has them in his crx on honda tech, but the last time i saw his car he had wrecked it and was in the process of rebuilding it. you might talk to him. sorry the name escapes me at the moment.

its a lot of work.

took crx si rails, removed them from the seats, remove the s2000 rails, take the s2000 seats and weld them to the crx si rails. the angle is very different so it must be proped up on the back left side, otherwise youll be looking up and in, towards the rearview mirrors, instead of straight out the windsheild, the best analogy i can give oyu is like a car with a flat tire, so you have to prop it up.

since i cant weld, i paid 350$ to have it done. working slider and recline, angle is perfect, repainted rails flat black.

 

And there was me thinking this might not have been done before lol

Do you have any pic's of the seats in your car so i can see what they will look like. Do you know what was used to prop up the seat

 

Some else did the s2k seat swap a few months ago. They had to swap the pans to make it fit right. Those seats are $$$, I saw two go on ebay for $700+

I wonder if miata seats would work.

Yeah I've been really interested in S2K seats in my rex...but I think I'm going to go towards ITRs...

No seriously, even a Ford Bench seat will fit.

Ive ordered the Honda S2000 ones with the rails I think they are black but i have to get them ret-trimed to match the inside of the car

Lol.... Now why would I want to go and put that in my car?

 

To be different of course. You would need T-Tops or a removable roof though. Unless you are 4 ft tall and 3 of the 4 ft is in your legs.
