Default Just got my AEM short ram. and...

is there anything special i have to do before installing it, or is it just a simple bolt on?

Just a simple bolt on, nothing special...put it on, reset ECU and your set

to reset ECU i just take the negative connector of the battery out and put it back in right?

don't forget that if you disconnect your negative battery cable, you'll need the code for your radio, if you have a stocker.

The short ram DOES sound amazing. I just installed mine today also and WOW what a difference as far as the engine noise. I like the VRROOOM sound ONLY when you floor it Its nice and quiet till you gun it.

supperfly17: on my 1999 integra the hood looks like its gonna hit the top of the cone when closed does yours look like it too? Mine closes fine but I am just double checking.

It should have come with the car when you purchased it, on a little plastic like card.
If not, bring your car to any Honda/Acura dealership and they can extract the codes for you. They did it to my car for free!
