Default jdm d15b vtec

i am planning on swapping a jdm d15b vtec motor in my 89 civic hatch and was wanting your input on the mototr before i buy it.

My friend finished his swap into an EG and it runs very strong.
70hp----->128hp

i never had a good experience with them. then again, they both were from osaka motors z6's are always a good choice, scrap yards are littered with them too

I also hope you plan on getting better gearing. Get an Si transmission, the jump in horsepower will feel a whole lot better with it. Make sure to get a '90-'91 Si transmission. Also, run the d15b obd-1! For the love of god do that.

I have a d15b in my 90 si. its converted to obd1 with a p28. got an si tranny with act stage 2 clutch. i like it!

well i already have an si tranny in it now cause i converted it from an auto. and i am going to use the pm6 ecu with external vtec controller.

well the block i have in there now is a d15b but with a d15b2 head. don't ask i had the motor replaced 2 years ago at a shop, and thats how they did it.

what head gasket, water pump, and timing belt do i use for the jdm d15b vtec.
