b16 5th scrape
I finished my b16a swap last weekend. I got the swap, mounts, linkage, vtec subharness from hmotorsonline. Everything is great although i did have to change the axles. they were clicking bad. When it is cold, it will sometimes scrape into 5th but no other gears. could it be anything else besides the sincro's? linkage is hooked up properly and fluid is full. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/834818 here is a link with pics.
i had the same sort of problem inmy b16 and this is what i did. I went to a local gm dealer and bought some GM synchromesh for $10 a bottle and put it in my tranny, after about 500miles the grind was completely gone. GM synchromesh

I don' know what it is about these types of GM products but the GM E.O.S. (engine oil supplement) is great stuff too! Haven't used it on any of my Honda's but it worked miracles on my Ranger. Sorry for the off topic.
