b16 in a del sol

Default b16 in a del sol

i put a b16 in my del sol the car won't start and i have a weak intermittent spark now. changed plugs as well as coil. had the car running for 20 sec till i shut it off,and then would not restart after that. there is also a solonoid that was going crazy underneith the dash which has now stoped..any ideas????

maybe somethin to do with that solenoid. go do a search for b16 swaps into civics im sure youll find somethin in there about it.

i dont think it has do do with the solonoid it was like that before and after

i thought it might be a ground issue so i ran all new grounds i think thats why the solonoid was going crazy.but now i have no spark and just another odd thing now my alarm wont work anymore as well. someone please have som insight for me im loosing my mind

you have changed the plugs right look at the wires. if you have replaced the coil then you need to change the ingnitor the sol. that was going crazy was the main relay which controls the fuel pump. as for your alarm not working you could have unpluged and power or ground wire thats where i would start with out beeibg there to look at it. it also helps to open and honest with anything you did so we can help you try to resolve your problem not trying to be an ***

did you do any rewiring of anything if you did you could start their by double checking your wiring if you replaced all of the parts so say you did then have you replace the plug wires double check your timing did you install the dizzy right try to adjust the timing are you also sure that you are getting fuel try charging your battery your battery may have a low charge and that is why you have a weak spark just trying to help
