Default deer whistles

almost hit a deer today and thinking of getting deer whistles for my 2000 integra

can they be placed discreetly in the front where it is not noticable?

I dont want them showing like in most cars

I've had them on my car for many years and I'm not sure if they really work... I've seen the deer or moose grazing on the side of the road, and instead of running away, they just stop eating and stare...then when I pass they go back to their business

I ran those for a few years. They make the deer stop what they're doing so they don't unexpectedly run in front of your car. I have not seen a single "running" deer while I had them on. I've seen many standing deer however.

Whether or not it works is up to speculation. The black ones aren't even noticeable if you mount them in your grill. Cheap insurance if you ask me.
