i have a cd-5 accord and im planning to install the jdm stanley headlights. i was wondering if anyone has instructions to remove the oem headlights...

 

you will need to remove the front bumper. I find it easier to remove the whole thing and not just the bumper cover.

You will find a total of 4 bolts inside the front grill holding the bumper supports to the car, there are two bolts on either side (one is behind the turn signal light so that will need to be removed as well).


Then there is a screw holding the bumper cover to the fenders where the top of the bumper and fenders meet.

That is it then there are either 4 or 5 bolts (I cant remember how many exactly) holding the headlight assembly to the car.

yeah front bumper has to come off, its pretty straightforward though

 

okay.....i removed da bumper..unscrewed all bolts from the headlight assembly and unplugged all the bulbs...the problem is when i tred to pull out the headlight it wouldnt come out because the plastic piece from the headlight assembly was touching the frame...

 

could you post a pic of what you are talking about.

you have to remove the re-bar too. the big impact thing...then unscrew the plastic thing on the back of the headlight cover, there's screws at the bottom.
