Default d16y7 into 89 si

Sup folks. I'm finishin up a swap for a customer. Got everything in, just wonderin what i need to do for the radiator fan. On the a6, the switch is on the back of the block, and on the y7 its on the thermostat housing. Wonderin how i should wire it up so that the fan will work as normal, or if i should just wire it up to a constant? Thanks!

on the y7 is it just 2 prongs?? if so, It just a simple thermal switch, just wire the 2 prongs onto the 2 prongs on the y7. simple.

Its a simple switch really. its either FULLY on, or FULLY off. all it does it finish the circuit.
