N00b to OBD and ECU issues...
I'm working on dropping an OBD0 B16A into my OBD1 B18b1 integra. My question is, what ECUs could I use to get this thing running? Sorry, I'm a n00b to all things OBD
need a little more info or just some clarificiation:
what year integra do you have?
what motor are you attempting to run?
it sounds like you want to run a 1st gen b16 in your 94-95 non-vtec integra, is this right?
I'm assuming your wiring is all done, if so...
the obd1 b16 ecu that will plug right in is the p30 out of the dohc vtec del sol si.
you can also run a chipped p28 that comes out of the 92-95 civic si
if you go with a conversion harness to run the obd0 ecu on a obdI system, I think you could use the pr3 ecu....but that's harder to find than the p30 delsol ecu.

Actually, the wiring is not done.
What conversion harness do I need to use the 1st gen B16A (OBD0) with a chipped P28 ecu? Can you point me in the direction of one?

actually i can help. Go one ebay and type "obd0 obd1" if you want to use the conversion harness. All the harness does is plug into your haress where your ecu goes and you pulg the ecu in the other side. You can also find skunk2 or spoon ecus on ebay.
i don't believe you can use a p28 cause its OBD1 and you said you wanted OBD0. If you have and OBD0 engine and harness and want to use an OBD1 ECU (P28) then you have to get a jumper harness that converts from OBD0 to OBD1. Boomslang has them i believe

since you have an obd0 car you can not down it to an obd0, not that I know of. The harnesses these companies sell are for you to step your car up, like from obd0 to obd1, and so on. you will problobly have to find the obd0 harness out of a jdm crx or jdm teg. or you can get an obd0 harness from an ls then get the obd0 vtec ecu and run the vtec wires, that way might be easier to find the harness. because you can just go to any junk yard and they should have an obd0 teg
