Default shifter question...

I've got an EG, and will soon be swapping in an LS motor. I want to buy a shifter, but don't know which one to get. Do I get one for a civic or an integra??? Does anyone have any advice or any experience with this? Help a noob out...

Doesn't matter, the shifters are the same. Shaped different, functions the same.

I'm pretty sure it does matter. I know that if you use a gsr shifter on an EG it has to be moddified to even fit. I just don't know if a civic shifter will mate up to the LS tranny, or if an LS shifter will fit in the civic housing.

You've been lied to. All 88-00 Civic and 90-01 Integra's have 100% interchangable shifters.
