MY PROBLEM IS I HAVE A EF WITH A B16a2 AND THE BLOCK DOES NOT COME WITH A SENSOR TO TELL THE FAN TO COME ON OR OF THE EF SENSOR HAS TO PRAWNS ON THE SENSOR TO TELL IT TO TURN ON AND OF I NEED TO NO BECUASE I DID A 99 CONVERTION ON THE EF AND IM USEING A 92-95 RADIATOR AND THE FAN DOESNT WORK THE ONLY WAY FOR IT TO WORK IT TO GROUND IT BUT IF I DO THAT IT WILL STAY ON ALL THE TIME

hook it up too a switch, its not hard to remember to turn it off....

turn the caps off man

try to hook the power up to a wire or something that just turns on when when the ignition is on

just buy a new thermoswitch (one that fits the old obd-0 style thermoswitch plug you're describing). or you can buy a pigtale plug that fits the thermoswitch on the b16a2.

you can get a thermaostat switch kit they sell at like autozone and pepboys. i forgot what its called but it comes with a sensor and all the wiring and it works independantly and will turn on ur fan at a certain temp. so you dont have to wire it strait to a switch.
