just finish putting my integra back together from a long neglected winter for it and im having all sorts of problems. 94 gsr with type r head and a p72 obd1 ecu. well after replacing a few radiator hoses and the knock sensor my integra wont turn on and i hear a loud clicking noise from the main relay. and when im able to get it started it idles at about 2k and doesnt drop. if i accelerate the relay starts clicking again and the car sputters and shuts off. i have no clue of what can be the problem thanks in advance for your help

 

I just completed a swap and at first it wouldn't start, but I heard a motor-like sound from near my feet, found it was the main relay. Did some snooping around and ended up checking my grounds. There was minor corrosion on them so I went crazy with the sand paper, even sanded some paint down to metal so they had another place to connect. The car started after this, no more main relay troubles.

 

yea ..your missing a ground on the harness

 

thanks fellas checked the wiring and re grounded everything with new cable and found out that the ground that goes on top of the thermestat housing was not connected for some reason. car starts fine now.
