Default Bigger Gains? ITR Cams or Port/Polish Head

I have the head off and was wondering if i would benefit more from getting ITR cams, or a good port/polish job to the head. Also if i port and polish, can i stay w/ the stock ecu for a while? I plan on going supercharger down the road, thanks : )

i don't know what the specs are for the itr cams, but n/a cams generally do not work as well with forced induction. the port and polish will be beneficial either way and depending on how much work we're talking here, the stock ecu should be able to handle it.

I would say the ITR cams would. as long as you have the ITR flash or a kpro. with a kpro you can tune it more to your car.

itr cams will make a noticable gain and u also have to reflash or tune your ecu with hondata to run with the new cams. also from what i was told from a machine shop, the k20a2 head is already top notch work, and porting the head is a waste.
