Don't have a pic.,....but drill a hole right behind the brake or the clutch...make sure its free of any important parts.....or find a hole thats made already...like under the passenger side dash - where the ecu wires run.....

you can run the wire through the passenger side of firewall.... theres a rubber gromment just behind te strit tower just poke a hole through it with a screw driver and put the wire through it and it will pop out on the other side towards the top of wear your feet would be just pull up the carpet to get to it.

Well, I didn't do it personally, but watched a shop do it on my 5th gen.

Remove the bolts holding down the fuse boxes inside the engine bay...there's a grommet right behind it where all the wires from the fuse go through the firewall into the cockpit area...you can run your power wire through here as well. This works well, since it's on the same side of the car as the battery.

Good luck with it.

EDIT: SORRY, I just noticed you said 5th gen! Check for the same or similar thing on either driver or passenger side. I helped run the same guage amp wire just like that on my buddies 2002 RSX Type S, but we did it on his drivers side because the wire was shorter (his battery is on the left side).

Yep!

Here is the wiring from the battery to under the fuse box:

Here is the wiring running into the gromet right under and next to the fuse box:

Here is the panel the gromet hides behind in the passenger area:

Here is the gromet that runs back into the car:

This is a perfectly safe setup, I am using 4guage wire and have had this for over a year or so. Doesn't crimp in the door ever and pretty much impossible to see when the door is open unless you use a flash light and have your head at a certain angle... or have some other means of shining light into the door jam area. If you want to make this run easier and see the safeness for your self, undo the fender splash guard and you can see easily where the wire runs and should help you run it.
