My Sparco seats were making an annoying rattle noise at certain RPMs and when going over bumps - turns out it was the spring/wire that runs under the seat bottom. Taped it up and no problems since...
"you should probably just sell the car if your seats are making noise"
Har har, you made a funny. Pat yourself on the back, pick the booger outta your nose and enjoy your dinner.

I've got random creaking from my driver side seat sometimes, usually when I first sit down... no "old sofa sounds" while driving though. I used to have a little bit of a rattle on my passenger side, but it went away when I took the seat out to install something and put it back in (shrug)...
I'm convinced it's the sparco rails... dunno.

I had a chirping sound that was coming from my seat belt recepticle (the thing with the button).
Cracked it open and greased the spring slightly.

I gota laugh when people install a race part in their street car and then complain about things like squeaks.

I know, purpose built race parts just don't have the engineering or durability of street parts.
I love it when a racer talks of "race engineered" parts like they're "better" than street parts. Okay, it's purpose built, so it does one thing better, but the engineering stops there - nothing about street durability (precision, etc.) is put into the part because it's not needed.

FWIW, my sparco corsa passenger seat creaks often.
I don't think wd40 in the bolt will help, actually that's the last bolt i'd want to lube.
Try to spray the area between the seat and the seat mounts themselves...
[edit- in response to the above post, the were not designed to be squeak-free show-off seats, they cost 650 because they are SAFE!]

I'm pretty sure its that , like you said.. but then again i dont know what to use on it.. My seats are black (so im not worried about staining) but i dont want to spray wd-40 on my seats and getting mhy clothes dirty lol
