Default pm7 pistons
has any ya'll ever put these into a d16z6 with a y8 headgasket. i am a little worried that the valves will hit when it goes into vtec.

You shouldnt have a prob. i put them in mine and it runs fine.

best thing to do is put a little clay on the top of the piston and activate the v-tec..and check the clearence

we have a y8 block, z6 head and pm7 pistons with vtec locked on all the time and it works fine.

thanx for all the info. we put it together saturday 6-18-05 and started it wednesday 6-22-05 and 200 miles later she still lives!!!!
