Default odometer readings

I want to lower my odometer reading on my sisters 98 accord EX. How would i go about doing this or can i do it??? Its a digital odometer reader.

if you are trying to do what i think you're doing, dont bother, the whole idea behind digital is that it becomes tamper proof...

you can program it but you'll need the gun from honda

i don't think i should say anymore, lowering or any alternation of the odo is not legit

let me see why would someone want to lower odometer??? WELL it could be that they are trying to sell the car and be dishonest try to get more money and STICK it to some poor guy ..i have seen people do that they have been , cheap dishonest used car saleman's..

Not trying to be a bad boy, just curious on to see if this has been done on digital readers. It is fucked up lowering the odometer on a car with a **** load of miles.

Then what was the point of wanting to do it? (i know you werent just in it for the knowledge factor)...lowering the mileage on a car PERIOD is bullshit, and highly illegal.

yes, its not a good thing to do, even if you contemplated it, dont bother, too much work and trouble involved. I think the main reason behind auto makers introducing the digital readout was to prevent rollbacks and such.

how do you roll back a speedo on a 5th gen? just fyi cause i did the h22 swap and i don't like the way the odo looks with such high milage even though the motor doesn't have that much?
