firstly i would like to thank you all for your word of caution, after being told my deal (look at last thread, with the username tsilogiannis for more info, posted yesterday) with this guy in Greece, i started searching around (since i'm Greek, i knew who to contact and find out if this address was real and if the name was registered to it)

100% SCAM, i can't believe i almost fell for it, i was blinded by my being overwhelmed with joy on how much i was $aving...

p.s. i created a new account to let everyone know of my developments with that guy, infact odly enough, i'm in touch with another guy who's claiming to sell a MODIFIED S2000 (2004) for $9000. So i'm playing with him a bit now (knowing FULL well that it's a scam, i'll post pics.. - oh yea, do i need to pay that fee inorder for me to post pics on here? isn't there another free-er alternative?

Priviledged huh? lol...not really, its called busting my *** and my wife busting her *** for years to make our lives easier now, and then having the credit history, income and money to purchase a car she actually wanted. A priviledge is something like a license to drive, the state gives you a priviledge to drive a car, as long as you follow their rules and pay up if you dont, nobody gave us our car, or helped us get our car...so really, a priviledge it was not, it was the result of years of hard work and determination between my wife and i.

And no, i cant blame you for wanting this car...its an awesome car, i enjoy driving it all the time (though its entirely too small for me and will be traded in later this year for something a little more daily driver friendly for my wife...), but you're looking to get something for pretty much nothing...understand that about the cheapest your going to find an S2000 that isnt salvaged is $14,000-$15,000, and thats for a higher mileage 2000 model. The cheapest your going to feasibly get a legitimate AP2 is probobly $24,000-$25,000 for a 2004 with higher mileage. So can you blame us for laughing at you when your "really considering" buying an S2000 in the condition you were showing for the price you were discussing....seriously, if you were my brother, i'd have already smacked the back of your head and told you to wake up.

Come to reality bro...no offense, but you gotta pay to play, especially with this car.

HAHA. If you want to lose $9k so badly just give it away on a street corner. The other guy was so obviously a scam, why do you think this isn't. If you go through with it you deserve what happens to you.

 

Sometimes its too good too be true!!! Watch out for those nigerian fools to be selling supras, nsx, porsches, etc. at basically a redicilous price. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!!!! they are also known for making "fake" websites too.

 

The same thing is happening with bikes. You'll find a low mileage R1 with &lt;500 miles on it for like $2,000.

Honestly man, did you really need confirmation on the fact that he was using a bum address to "prove" to you that it was a scam?

It doesn't even stand to reason that you could get a ~$30,000 MSRP car in good condition with low miles even if it was a 2000 for less than $10,000. It doesn't even make sense.
