OT: Axles. Figured you guys would be the guys to ask.
What do you guys think of these axles? Has anyone used them? Will they hold of better than stock?

I found them on http://www.driveshaftshop.com
Here's what they have to say about them.
This is our stage 1 axle, it has an 1117 billet inner housing oversized tripod (three times larger than the stock unit) a 1045 induction hardened center bar (hard a the surface and softer in the center for a good torsional value) and also has a 1117 billet outer c.v. that has a single arch c.v. ( the stock HONDA unit has a dual arch ball track this system makes the ball travel over a point in the track run making it more prone to heat and failure) our unit. has a single arch ball track induction hardened at the spline and tracks to make this a good up grade for either road racing or mildly worked street cars
Retail Price: $189.99
Our Price: $149.99
Would they hold up just fine on the street running no more than 1 bar?

unless you are running a huge tire with low sidewall your stock units should be fine for about 300HP everyday, thyey could also break on you the first time you launch, if you go to drive shaft shop wait untill you need their stage 4 or 5, untill then i think it is cheaper to replace stock axles.
Im running driveshaftshop stage 1 axles in my accord. I snapped stock axles like crazy but I have abused these things to no end and they hold up fine. Not bad for $300/pair. Frank is a great guy to deal with also.
After thinking about it, I think its totaly worth it. It just one more thing I won't have to worry about. It only twice as much as stock rebuilds.
i have the DSS stage 2 axles needless to say i had way less than 300 hp at hte time maybe liek 160-170 and i broke both of them, but they have a nice lifetime warrentee. hopefully they will hold up now that i am actually making closer to 325-350 to the wheels. with my new setup. but well see come race season.
