Default RSX (auto tranny) stutters off the line...getting dangerous. PLEASE HELP!!!

RSX (Auto) stutters and bogs when Im leaving from a standing postition. Its starting to get a little dangerous. I heard that there was an ECM update but I haven't found anything on it. ANyone know or had the same problem?

EDIT: Called Acura of Lynnwood. They said that my vin number was not under any ECM update bulletins Also said that my warranty was canceled in 2003. WHy would they cancel a warranty. This is frustrating.

if the car has warranty then you will. My family bought a 2nd hand integra and it still had warranty and we didn't know. got the CD player fixed for free.

diagnosing on the internet is fun

NOT!

honestly it could be something rather small to a major PITA

keep us updated.

I know, that's why I love online forums like this because you can see if someone else has had the same issues and what they may have been. Online Diagnostics

sometimes the problem that u are dealing with can be caused by entirely different things........like an engine code for a oxygen sensor

how would a type s hav the same issues as a the auto tranny....the tranny may not even be at fault....diagnosing on the internet is uber gay....as u can see there is no real way of checking out the car unless its in front of you.....possible causes yes.....any real amount of problems or way of knowing which is true = checking out the car. EOS

BTW

code 61- P1163
11-94
11-88
Air Fuel Ratio (A/F) Sensor (Sensor 1) Slow Response

code 61- P1164
11-95
11-88
Air Fuel Ratio (A/F) Sensor (Sensor 1) Range/Performance Problem

code 63- P0137
11-74
11-65
Secondary Heated Oxygen Sensor (Secondary HO2S) (Sensor 2) Circuit Low Voltage

code 63- P0138
11-75
11-66
Secondary Heated Oxygen Sensor (Secondary HO2S) (Sensor 2) Circuit High Voltage

code 63- P0139
11-76
11-67
Secondary Heated Oxygen Sensor (Secondary HO2S) (Sensor 2) Slow Response

do u maintain the oil regularly? did the person before you? if not then it could also possibly be the pcv valve is clogged....there can be so many variables in all of today's technology....

sorry if i came off as a ******** earlier but i was just making a point that it can be one of many things.

No worries, and yes I am meticulous about maintiance. The car was owned by a older woman who really didn't like the attention...LOL. Sevice records from two months after purchase. Anyway, Acura said that the problems that Im experiencing are the issues that caused them to recall some 02 models and upgrade the ECM...unfortunetly my vin # isn't on that bulletin...sucks.

I just need to find new/newer A/F sensors and an 03-04 ECM. Shouldn't be too hard or expensive, right? LOL
