Default BOOM!!! :(

Ok so was out and about driving through the twisties this sunday was going through the corners 4th gear 5500 rpms and then all of a sudden there was no power a sputtering sound then huge amounts of blue smoke bellowing out the exhaust so that i couldnt see anything behind me. Then she dies. wont start for about half an hour then she finally starts but seems to be running on only 3 cylinders and can barely even go up a hill in 1st gear no power at all. but i waslike 3/4 away from the bbq so i limped it there so i can park it. I get out pop the hood and open up the throttle bodies and there was wierd noise coming out the #4 horn almost like air on compression stroke coming out. anyways im not the best and was curious if anyone had any ideas. im going to rip the head off prob sometime early next week when i have some time off. i ripped off the valve cover and the valve train and cams seem to be fine. the oil is black and smells burnt like no other. its pretty bad smell. the oil is mobil 1 synthetic and has about 2-300 miles on it..

The Mobil 1 is black after 2-300 miles? She must have been very hot for that to happen. GL.

sounds like a head gasket. The same thing happened to my dc2 a while ago and that was the problem. Hope you get it running again soon, cuz your car is hot.

ok so we spent all morning since i got off (took 3 hours off early) ripped it completely apart and there is no damage done to it, but since i wasnt tuned there is so much **** build up in the combustion chamber and on top of the piston its crazy, but yeah the owner of the local shop came and checked through it all and mechanically everything was fine. SO we dont know what was wrong with it, but looking through it again we noticed that there was a crack in my sparkplug lol but it still sparked jsut not very well (we put it in another car) so i really dont know eacty what was wrong with it, but the head is all apart i didnt float / suck any valves no rings fried have no clue what the deal is but it may have just been as easy as that stupid ******* spark plug and i wasnt getting good spark hence the reason it seemed like running on 3 cylinders.
