You will no longer have a usable rear seat. Actual chassis stiffening will probably not be that noticable.

With that said, this particular design is shitty. Every single mount is in bending due to the offsets of the crossbeam beams, and the load paths are random.

So a better design would be if it was all one piece.. the X's I mean.. basically welded together?

 

I do not think an X Bar is worth the weight. There are lots of cheaper things you can do for your suspension that will make a bigger improvement. If you really have your heart set on chassis stiffening then go with a roll bar or cage and get some real stiffness and safety!
