Default Lower floor bar...

Designed to create a brace between each side of the chasis. This bar is placed in between the front and rear seat
floor, and bolts directly into the seatbelt mount. By being placed in a centralized area of the vehicle it helps to create a more rigid chasis which can also help stiffen the suspension.
Thoughts, opinions. Thx.

99-00 EK Hatches have a brace near that spot from the factory.

Monkey Bars are all SHOW and no GO. Seriously...if you want to "stregthen" or "stiffen" your chasis...get a roll bar or roll cage.

i have do-lucks version and it DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!! it is not show or rice,(monkey bars are gay imo) it really stiffens the chasis, of every bar that can be added to stiffen the chasis(strut bars, tower bars, tie bars) this makes the most difference.

yes the ultimate way to stiffen your chasis would be a roll bar or cage, but for the price these make a huge difference.

if your willing to cut your carpet than invest in one.
Not sure about the specific company you are refering to but im telling you my do-luck made an unexpected improvement .

That is stupid rice ****. It doesn't do anything for chassis rigidity.

hmmm...do you have this bar in your car???????

whats that??? no, so please dont say it doesn't do any thing for chasis rigidity.

I hate when people say things without proper knowledge. I have the do-luck bar in my car and it made a huge difference in chasis rigidity! my car doesn't flex as much as it used to. So until u ride in a car with the do-luck bar installed please do not call it "rice ****"

Again i am talking of my experience with the DOLUCK BAR NOT THE AROSPEED.

yeah, i remember a few years back some import car mag (forget if it's SSC, or Super Street) did an install on a Civic. They showed the difference the Do-luck bar made in the rigidity of the Civic by jacking up a corner and showing you how the door aligned up to the door frame with and without the bar. There was definitely a good difference and I think it looks real nice.

Monkey Bars are all SHOW and no GO.
If you're talking about the fake cages, then yes, I agree with you. But if you're refering to the floor bar, then you have no clue what you're talking about. Now, the bar pictured above is made by Arospeed if I'm not mistaken. I don't know how effective that one is since the ends are bolted on to the bar as opposed to a welded piece such as the Do-Luck bar pictured in the Type R. That bar...no, the Do-Luck lower bar makes a big difference. I have no experience with the Arospeed bar at the top, so I cannot comment on those. You do not realize how weak the chassis is and how much it flexes. The difference is Night and Day, especially on a civic chassis.

You still think those bars don't help? Well, I have three buddy's with Type R's. We all know that ITR chassis are alot stiffer that ordinary Integras. Well...I asked them how it felt and they all told me that it makes a big difference, and that's on a ITR, think of what it will do to yours...

I've installed the Do-Luck bar on an ITR, Integra, and a 93 hb, and I can tell you that they certainly do make a difference.
A roll bar or a cage would obviously do more, but not all people would want to go that far. Maybe they still need backseats for passengers...who knows.

Another opinion based on what "he heard" instead of actually being in a car equiped with one...

:sigh: So many people giving other people false information :sigh:

I'm not sure if they still import them here anymore. I got mine off of an imported JDM ITR. A couple years ago, before all this Monkey Bar nonesense got big, the Do-Luck bar was still available. Try giving these guys a call:

Avanche Corporation
18239 South Figueroa Street
Gardena, California 90248
P. 310-532-4762
F. 310-532-4588
e-mail: info@avanche.com

I used to see it on their website. Not sure if they are the ones responsible for bringing them over. HTH
