Yeah you can do that..I actually did something like that a while back..
I had b20z/b16a setup with a pr3..But since the pr3 is mapped for a 1.6 I got a vafc and fpr to the compensate for the extra fuel the 2.0litre needs..

The only wiring I did with the swap is adding the 4 wires for vtec like I would any b16a swap..

The car ran decent with the pr3..But when I added the vafc and fpr it ran perfect to my needs..

was there bogging issue with pr3? how significant was the change from no vafc to with vafc. also i have a b16 already on it. so basicaly no wiring for me right?

No there was no bogging issue..Just it was running lean..Hooked up a friends wideband and it was to lean for my comfort..So I hooked up the vafc and fpr and did a ghetto street tune..It ran fine up untill the end..

No wiring needs to be done for you..

Ignorance is bliss

The point is a crv/vtec could hit 200hp easily when the ls/vtec can''t hit 200 that easily.

Get a obd-0 b16 head (b16a1), obd-0 injectors, and a obd-0 distributor, and pr3. And you can run the crvtec obd-0. The block has almost no preference what obd-0 its run. Its mainly the head. If the head is obd-2, run it obd-2.
