Default Projecter Headlights

Hey, Im looking for a pair of projector headlights for my 89 CRX (black or chrome), I have seen some on the net saying they fit. but however i have no credit card so i went to one of the local shops. the guy working there was a real tool and checked his book and saye they only made them for 91 up... and I never botherd to tell him to check the othe books. but I have seen it saying 88 - 91 blah blah blah on the net. does anybody know of any manufacturor who makes these? or if not, sombody plz tell me they do exist for my car!!!

If you plan on seriously buying these take this advice from someone who has been riding around with them for 3 years. Your lowbeams become useless. They pretty much don't work there so dim. You pretty much have to ride around with your brights on to see anything. Espicially if your car is lowered. I've even tried changing the blubs. Same thing

Yes, Ive reaimed them 3 million times. The low beams just suck *****. My friend has a set identical to mine, just blacked out in Titusville and he has the same problem.. Sucky lowbeams, highbeams are great though.

interesting, I have the gen2 black housing ones and both of them work great as far as aiming them and visablity. but my left one is too slightly too high once you get about 3 car lengths away. been working on it last night to try and correct but no luck so far.

exactly why i've been trying to trade mine for stock ones. perhaps its the brand of headlight becaue mine are much brighter than my buddys stock ones.

anyone want to trade stock for matrix racing black projection headlights (in perfect shape) with clear corners and bumper lenses

also on the matrix headlights what bulbs do you use because stock headlight bulbs dont work. they look more like vw bulbs

I've got the black projectors and HIDs; they light up everything pretty well.

I actually forget if mine really sucked with normal bulbs or not, but HIDs aren't expensive at all, so I think it's a good combo for a little more money.

red emblem? does it glow at nite. cause its not cool unless it glows at nite like a fire truck.

i have the same headlight/corner combination on my car. im counting down the days until my jdm stuff goes on, and i can light this **** on fire while doing a ritualistic dance screaming in tounges.

as said above, the low beams dont do ANYTHING. i often get brighted by people coming the other way who think i dont have lights on. but they are on... its THAT BAD.... they are aimed properly.

furthermore, those corners dont have any reflective suface, and you have direct view of the bulb. theres nothing to REFRACT the ligtht. its really the worst thing ever. it looks somewhat decent in the daytime, but it was not thought out how bad it looks at nite, and the headlights dont work and arent safe.

ive had the setup for about a year now, as i said, cant wait to get this **** off the car and not look back. 100% clean and stock is the way to go. dont announce to theives and others what the car is.

around my way those emblems are a tell tale sign of a car i know i can beat. period.

i like the clear/chrome ones, like the one pictured above. and the only reason im getting em is because i want to use HIDs, and HIDs dont work very well in reflector housings.

I don't like them, I will just modify my stock ones to look better. Like painting the chrome inside to gunmetal.
