Of course they are functional. They will hold your radiator in place jsut as well as the OEM piece...

not everything has to be "functional", atleast not in the context that you put the idea in. otherwise where would the fun be? look thru any tuner's catalogue...spoon, mugen etc. thankfully all of them are guilty as sin.
