Help installing Volt meter gauge. 2 wires going where???
So my friend gave me this gauge and the replies that I came up with didn't solve my question. It actually has 4 wires, 2 for the light, ground and 12v source and then a plug with 2 more wires. Where do these wires go???????? Ground (maybe?) and what?
It cant go to the battery otherwise it would be on all the time, which I don't want... so any of you guys know? It would be nice to get it working soon

Ok, Here is how it goes
There are two 12v Wires
1) Light power, hooked up to fuse box to activate with headlights
2) Power feed for gauge, hooked up to 12v cigarette lighter line
There are two grounds
1) Do as you see fit.
My purpose for this was to give me a rather good idea of when my car WASNT going to crank from leaving it off to long with accessories on.

ok I figured out that one is ground (on engine) and the other one is a 12v source.
Now which 12v source can I get power from from under the dash?
edit - thanks dr latino, you are not a doctor for nothing

If you look at the under dash fuse box there are five spade connecters and one or two gain power when driving lights are on and continue on with the headlights, those are the ones you will need for the little light in the gauge for everything to be synchronized and live happily ever OEM after.
