Default LSVTEC wierd problems!

OK so i have an lsvtec setup 94 block and 00 gsr head and a chipped gsr ecu skunk2 i think. the wierdest thing that has happened yet was on saturday. i was driving on the freeway and went to eccelerate over 4200 rpms and bam it was like hiting a rev limiter it was just bouncing off 4200 it was really wierd. the other problem i am having is that it is running super rich i thought this was due to the chipped ecu but it was still running right when i put the stock ls ecu back in, im not 100% its rich because my air fuel gauge isnt working for some reason its tapped into the the obd2-1 harness that goes to my ecu and on a good ground but wont get out of the first 3 bars of lean but i can look out my rear window when i floor it and see the little black cloud. im not sure exactly what is going on if someone could give me a some input that would be awsome. btw when i have my gsr ecu in a get the knock sensor code even tho the chip should take that away and i am still able to hit vtec. when i have the gsr ecu in and the car should be running like an lsvtec it really isnt i dont feel much when i go into vtec its almost like having an ls that make a noise at 5200 rpms lol.

Sounds like you ran rich too long and if you got a catalytic converter ... its probably all melted and clogged up. take a rubber mallet and bang on the cat...if you hear rattling then its gone.
