I'd actually like to know this myself. Whatever it was you can bet thousand and thousands were probaly spent on it. Yea I think I'll eventually go turbo, even tho I don't want too.

Anyway I know that 2point6 was putting down around 246whp last time i checked, bored and stroked to 2.4L. That's the most I've seen, except for that 300+whp Endyn motor that turned out to be a fraud. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

since it must be streetable..the highest compression you are going to be able to hit is about 11:1 or maybe 11.5:1 with some tuning. this is with 91 octane. if you can hit higher octanes around where u live, you can go higher, which will yield more hp.

i dont know the highest hp, but i am also curious.

the term "streetable" means differently from person to person.

Some people think it should be something you could drive everyday without a hickup.......some people think as long as it can run for a block then it's streetable. I've always hated that term, not with motors, but with cars.

Some cars have no working window, headlights, signals, runs on a mix of methanol, and have a sequential tranny and they still labeled it "street". Please............

So becareful when you say streetabel motor.

I don't think 12.9/1 is street-able
