car shakes at idle and ticking sound
i currently have a b16a swap into my 94 cx
at idle(750rpm) i can feel my motor shaking the car a little bit when holding on the steering wheel. also the shifter shakes a good bit too. If i rev it at 1000rpm the shaking on the steering wheel goes away. I checked my mounts i didnt see any cracks or anything. are there mounts insert will fix this??
also i hear a ticking sound which i think its the injectors. does it get louder as u rev higher? i can hear it pretty good at 1000-1500rpm before my intake sound takes over

the spark plug wires are old(came with my swap) but the spark plugs are new and gapped at 1.2
i doubt its the spark plugs wires

And what is arcing?
And what is arcing?
bump for an answer, i have the same b16 swap in a 94 civic cx, my car vibrates alot because of the Es mount inserts i have but its also just that the car is getting old and peices are getting loose.

The shaking is probably worn out mounts (the rubber part). The ticking could be the valves; adjust 'em (c-speedracing.com has a how-to IIRC) and see what happens.
I was always told it was normal for cars with solid shift linkage to vibrate a little at idle.. you could try setting your idle a bit lower or higher, mine idles at 650 and when it gets to around 750 the steering wheel and shifter shake a bit then as it increases to around 900 the shaking disappears
