Default Weird Cold Idle*SEARCHED

ok when i go to start my car up it idles really funny it jumped from 500 to 1000 rpm's back and forth until its warmed up?just wondering if anyone knew where to start?TIA...

thanks man.but wouldnt a vacuum leake do it all the time?it only does it when the car is cold...

test the EVAC(I think?) its the cylinder shaped thingy on the rear of the intake manifold. had the same problem on my old 89si, though it did it all the time. its has alot to do with idling.

you didnt search because if you did you would of got a million topics. Try searching again and use the keywords Idle Air control or IAC, or just idle. Its most likely your IAC or you FITV.
