i know that much
i always thought it was 5200, but i gues it makes more sense at 4800 as i seem to pickup speed there rather then 5200
redline i thought was 7200, but i dono..

of course. It's just a de-stroked Z6....should be able to handle the revs as well as a 1.6. No need to rev that high all the time tho....and you shouldn't be bouncing off the limiter. Shift at 7200 and be coo
well ecu wise i belive its 4800-4900, but it depends on how yur car is running. if its cold, fat chance. but on a regular day at normal temp it should be those numbers. also with the y8 manifold, i believe it fits, search a little more, but prepare to have fun with coolant. YUCK.....

Shifting even at redline is too high IMHO. The Z6/D15B's stop making power at about 6,800-6,900, so I hardly ever shift past 7000. I remember when I had my exospeed stage 2 cam, that sucker kept pulling all the way to 7500...but when I pulled out the cam for my turbo project I could really see how much the stock cam sucked *** in terms of upper RPM power delivery.

True I use to shift at 6,500 if you look at the dyno charts for a stock single cam....and look at the curves you should shift so you stay in the power band

you also gotta think gearing then too. I'd rather be out of my power band in 2nd gear before shifting into 3rd, then to shift into 3rd too early and be dog slow cause now I'm below the powerband
I thought fuel cut on the P28 was in the 8500-9000 range. I remember I accidentally downshifted from 5th to 2nd (meant to hit 4th) and the car when "whaaaaaa" then went silent. Looked at the tach and it was at 8800.

there is no cut off when you mis-shift. I've seen a couple s2k and lude motors pop this way.

I don't know. I just remember shifting from 5th to 2nd, the car taking off like a rocket, then going completely silent.
