Default gabriel shocks from autozone any good?

I need some good quality shocks to replace for a friend, absolutely stock suspension. I wanted to get her koni reds but the gabriel shocks are $100 cheaper for a set of 4. How would the gabriel compare to the koni reds for a stock suspension set up? and is it worth to save up the extra $100 to get the konis? thanks

id go with the konis. the gabs are prolly for stock suspension and if you intend on upgrading any suspension parts will probably blow out.

they're so good because of the warranty and ride. they do blow out after maybe a year but then you can just go back and get a new pair free by the next day. thats whats awsume!
