H22A into EF Civic....
Hey, We are putting an H22 into our Ef Civic. Was wondering if anyone has any useful sites they know of that might help. I've found plenty of EF CRX swaps, but no Civics. Only one photo, and no info. That's all I've found.
Anyhuew!!!, here's some pics and any info would be great thanks.....

Modified the rear, cut out the tire well, and made custom suspension mounts so we can bring the exhaust straight through from the front with ne bends.

Had to cut fire wall to get engine back far enough.

So we could keep the sump flat and get the drive shaft's as close as possible to straight

Oh, this things going to be for circuit racing, and tarmac hillclimbs, so I don't need to worry about the firewall, and rear suspension.

its the same thing. theres not much difference in mounting a motor between a civic and crx. and you better make sure that you brace everything you cut up, it is a unibody, and isnt that motor a little heavy in the front of that car for a circuit car? any reason for going h22 instead of b18 or b20? what do you plan on doing for suspension to keep this thing from breakin loose?

^what he siad that thing is going to be heavy if i were u just go gsr but its your car

An interesting project for sure. But that motor is going to be really heavy for the car, and if your not careful with your cuts it could be too fast for the car as well. Be careful with that, but I hope it all turns out well
