is it a full rebuild or just putting the head on the block and into the car?

well see i was just going to put it all together and then put it in...but i think i might keep it out of the car and build...but what are some basic "for sure" things i would need to do?Also, do you know of some things i could adjust/torque when building the motor to get out a little bit more TQ/HP?thanks again

well if you're jsut putting it together then jsut go for the GE LS/vtec kit and arp or AEBs headstuds.. torque everything to spec... you should always torque to spec.. if you're rebuilding it.. you should consider higher compression pistons like b16 or ITRs.. you can use the rods and crank, new piston rings, seals, bearings, thrust washers,... oh and when you put your block together check for clearances and torque to specs..
