Default Blinking Cel Question?

Background. 99 JDM B16a into 97 civic with 99 USDM SI ECU

I had a steady cel
- 141(No Cat O2 not hooked up; this I know)
- cant remeber exactly but also had ftp sensor code(I did the ECU Fool fix found on ffs technet website)
-and the last cel was the CKF Sensor malfunction. (I jumped it to the CKP Sensor)

everything is working fine, Idle to redline. Only cel I have now is 141.

Here is the problem.... At idle I have a solid cel. When cruising/accelerating cel light starts blinking....when I go back to idle it becomes solid again.

Can this blinking be caused by the O2 not being hook up or is the blinking cel the result of somthing else....maybe wrong signal from ckf/ckp fix....?

With OBD2 Blinking CEL is a Misfire (Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation) they divide those between 2 types 1/2-A-B one is Catalyst Damaging. They are split by Miss Counts between rmp points (one is more one is less). This could be easily caused by a few things in the ignition system, I would chase after your Solid CEL first. I’m sure it will lead you to the right direction.

It sounds like you have a timing issue. Like Ownzen said, deal with the solid cel first. Big Up to Cruzan77! Great guy!

Thanks guys....Ok Update I backed track and removed the CKF/CKP fix......It doesnt work for anyone wanting to try it out. The signal from the cam is different form the crank. My Cel stoped blinking when removed.

Now my 1337 code is on again. Is there anyway I can fix this without changing my ECU?
