my friend is doing a h22 swap in his 99 ls we want to know how to wire the distributor couse the h 22 has an esternal coil an the ls uses an internal coil oh yea we are using a 98 gsr harnest

Are H22 swaps into DC/DB's common? I think that most people would just use the LS block, and put a VTEC head on it... I haven't seen it done in a DC/DB...

 

a couple people have this swap done to their tegs, and hatches... yes its more hassle and money than an ls-vtec but itll spank a lsvtec anyday.. and even though its for an integra isn't the wiring gonna be diffrent cuz its the hseries?

 

I've heard that after everything is done, an H22 swap is about the same price as an ITR swap. Obviously I don't know if thats true, because I haven't done them, but it seems reasonable? Any opinions on that?

And while the engine might be in a Teg it is still being wired to the H22 engine, there for the prelude guys would be of more help. Now if you are asking how to wire everything to the integra wire harness then that is a different subject.

Ahh, so you are trying to figure out how to wire the new coil to the integra wire harness. You have it all wired to the distributor.

Correct?
