Default sparco/recaro height question

Ok so I have searched, and etc... did not find answer....

I sat in recaro srd or the new model.. hit the roof.. so I have a major concern.

My question is... Is there a bracket to make Sparco Torino/Milano and or Recaro Speed/Sport sit as low as a del sol seat? Or in the very least, an inch or so lower than stock?

I have seen a few posts on Vision Super Low... But I cannot find where to buy them, nor anyone to say whether or not the seats sit lower than stock or comparible to del sol seats.

So please, let me know what brackets I can get for these seats for absolute lowest position... and if they will lower the seats to del sol, or close height.

Secondly... do these seats or the brackets suggested increase or decrease leg room, because I was sqeezed into the dash in a 98 civic ex coupe... with the SRDs....

thank you

It depends on the kind of seat rails that were purchased. A lot of the cheap seat rails actually make the seats sit up a lot higher.

The flat Sparco seat rails (Italian Style), along with the sliders, places the seat in a lower position.

I have Torino's with this seat rail setup and I have plenty of room for my head, and I'm 6'3" tall.

Look up wedge engineering. They specialize in aftermarket seat bracket fabrication. I'm sure they have something for u

They don't have many flat base applications. They mostly have a two-piece design that ends up making the seat sit higher.

The most common type of seat base is the "tabbed" base, as seen on page two of these sparco instrucitons: http://www.sparcousa.com/resourceFiles/19.pdf

The one to get the lowest sitting position, is to get the flat base, as seen here:
http://www.sparcousa.com/resourceFiles/20.pdf

For 92-00 civics and 94-01 integra's, Sparco has the flat base seat rails and their retail is only $55 ea.
