well its gonna be a huge power gain over an hf motor. the a6 is a great motor and resonds well to mods. the a6 or sohc zc would be my pic for a motor selection. plus it will be fun to drive, a light *** hf with a light motor.
I really leaning towards this for my first swap because of it being fairly easy. I also have 2 L3 Si trannies and a PM6 Ecu so basically I need a Longblock. But how quick would be with Basic bolt-ons?
i did it, well worth it i think, click the links in my sig for more info
edit: for quickness I am door to door with my friend's B16A2 (USDM 00 Si) swaped EG 4-door sedan

hey Onepointsix what do you have done bolt ons? Thats pretty good! Additionally to the things i stated above i also have a 6 point adjustable cam sprocket for an A6 motor and a HKS Smf intake.

In my 88 HF I'm in the low 15's with a stock SOHC ZC from Si Airbox to stock twin pipe Si Exhaust stock.
