well its gonna be a huge power gain over an hf motor. the a6 is a great motor and resonds well to mods. the a6 or sohc zc would be my pic for a motor selection. plus it will be fun to drive, a light *** hf with a light motor.

I really leaning towards this for my first swap because of it being fairly easy. I also have 2 L3 Si trannies and a PM6 Ecu so basically I need a Longblock. But how quick would be with Basic bolt-ons?

hey Onepointsix what do you have done bolt ons? Thats pretty good! Additionally to the things i stated above i also have a 6 point adjustable cam sprocket for an A6 motor and a HKS Smf intake.

i have the a6 swap in my '89 HF, i like it a lot. soon to be turbo, and with the single cam, you have the benefit of being able to replace a blown motor cheap

don't expect to be able to do 13's.
an si stock can do a little over 16, throw it in an hf and have basic bolt ons, and you'll probalby do 15's if it's in good shape.

depends on the year hf... around high 14's to 15's is to be expected. Unless you suck, then it just goes up from there.
