Ok ive been through both, and i like a stage 1 better than stock. stock is good, but the stage 1 is better, but not to harsh on your tranny. the OEM from e clutchmasters will cost you between 120-140, and the stage 1 is right around 200. I would reccomend getting a stage 1 and a lightweight flywheel. unless boosting your vehicle, then get a stage 2, but I think stage 1 and a lightweight flywheel are good for everyday driving, anyone care to disagree?

Good to hear you are looking into a clutch.... it is one of the most overlooked mods.

you really do NOT need alot of mods to make it worth your while. I have had over my experience a stage 0 (replacement), stage 3 , and i love my stage 4 on my gsr.

Stage 0 is a decent oem replacement, but offers nothing beyond that.

Stages 1, 2, and 3 are all fairly similarly priced, and I beleive are all full faced clutches.

Stage 4 is a bigger jump because it is a (6 puck) and can be a bit rougher on take-off.

Anyway, My advice::::::::;; While stages 1 & 2 will be decent.... if you really want to get on your car alot, and especially if you are going to race with drag radials or slicks... I say get the stage 3.

It will give you alot more in grip, for about the same price as stage 1 or 2.

HOWEVER, I dont know you too well, so if you have EVER complained about driving a stick in traffic just get a stage 1, and all of my effort in writing this is wasted...

so I say stage 3 if you are getting more serious, or stage 1 otherwise... you will prob enjoy either.

sorry for the long winded comparison.
