intake manifold gasket. he has the NextGear brand, i think that what its called. It keeps the intake manifold cooler than the stock one, adds a few ponies

ive heard of a few people with 05's type-s' breaking into the 13's with basic bolt ons, but i haven't seen any slips, so for all i know it could be bull.

i ran a 15.2@93mph with my 05, bone stock, full tank of gas, stock tires, AND it was my first time there.

my homie hit 13.6's with i/h/e kpro, lsd, tires... hits mid to high 13's consistently at pretty good trap speeds too.... i think the key to getting into 13's with basic **** on a type-s is the transmission. b/c my tranny has had problems like whoa, even after acura replaced it. i could only muster a 14.4 with i/e hondata 4. now im goin turbo, **** it. lol

Damn, I always thought that the rsx type-s always had lsd? What type of lsd was your friend using?

Type S's with Kpro (tuned), CAI, race header, exhaust and great tires would be able to hit mid 13's if the driver was good.

Low 13's are possible with IPS cams but once you are over 200whp in the RSX, traction becomes a big problem. (this is all my deduction from reading on CRSX)

A guy w/ intake, race header, hondata #4, and esmm's hit a 13.9 at a track near me. DC5RSX on clubrsx hit a 12.8 NA, but with slicks. I'm shooting for low 14's once I put my stock wheels back on and I have intake, exhaust, hondata #4, and an ingalls torque dampener. 13's NA are definitely possible with the rsx type-s.

I have just an intake, injen cai and my best time so far has been 14.7@94 mph on a 2.4 60' I know that if I could get that down to a 2.2 60' I'd be right around a 14.3-14.5....as the car is set up now. I'm looking at getting an exhaust and an apex vtec controller. I think with thos eparts, I should be able to get to high 13's.

my 60' times were crap for the 3 and only 3 runs i took, but my r/t were real good, like .020

i want to hit 14's first in stock trim, which i believe will happen the next track outing (which will probably be tomorrow), and then i'll see what i do from there.

i'll scan my slips later
