Default Stock 2.0 Litre PGM-FI Engine Mods for Horsepower

Hello,
My son is racing a 1987 Prelude in a "Stock Four" class on a 1/3 of a mile oval track. We are looking for more horsepower, but we have to stay stock. No racing parts. The engine is a 2.0 PGM-FI 1955 cu. in. We have rebuilt it with all new parts and bored it .080" over size. Are there any mods that can be done to increase hp by using stock parts that anyone knows of. For example is there a larger mm size throttle body from another honda engine that will bolt on?? Can I find larger size injectors somewhere?? Are there any computer "chips" available for the ECM?? I have done some mods by increasing the fuel psi, etc. If anyone can help I would sure appreciate it. We are currently finishing third fairly consistently to a NEON and a Chrysler K-Car?? We would really like to catch them!!!! Thanks for your time.

The Crew Chief

are you allowed to drop a different motor in? there are people who bore out their throttle body and rework the manifold for more flow. A valve job and port work also increases flow. Are you allowed to use programs to make your own chips? like crome/uberdata?

No we are not allowed to drop a different motor in. The rules state that the only engine allowed is the engine model that was available in the cars model year only? We are not allowed to port or polish in any way. I have done a complete three angle valve job when I rebuilt the engine. I may look at the throttle body idea?? We probably could get away with a computer chip, because I don't think the tech crew would find it??!! What is crome/uberdata??
Thanks for your information.

Message DonF here on htec. He has alot of tricks to extract hp on "Stock class" cars. He has told me alot of neat little tricks that he has tried and even can back them up with testing on his engine dyno..

mill the head, have the cams reground.....chipping/tuning that ECU will be difficult since there are probably no basemaps for that motor.
