Default Throttle Body Size for FI?

im getting ready to purchase a new throttle body and i was wondering what size is a good size to go with and how much it really matters when the engine is complete my goal HP is in the 450-500 range

whatever size the inlet of your intake manifold is port match it.

you will be fine with stock, otherwise what was mentioned above, I have an Edel. VictorX bored to match a BBk 70mm, but its not needed for a 500hp car.

but by going up in MM on the throttle body (port patching the IM) im not actually hurting myself or losing any power by going too big compared to whp goals am i?

I believe Cortney Green uses a stock T/B and makes over 800WHP

Use a comparable size to your intercooler piping. Doesnt make sense to run 3" piping and a stock TB. Thats like a natural restrictor plate.
